Our New Adventure

Do you ever feel like you want to start an entirely new adventure? What if that's what God is calling you to? What if you need to sell, give away, and leave all of your stuff behind and begin new? That's what this blog is about.

Do you ever feel like you want to start an entirely new adventure? What if that’s what God is calling you to? What if you need to sell, give away, and leave all of your stuff behind and begin new? That’s what this blog is about.

We, the Singler Family have been called to leave our comfortable lifestyles and begin something crazy. If we didn’t have the resolve and confidence that comes from the Spirit of God, we would never dream of taking risks that we are about to embark upon. In 12 days, we are leaving our home and everything we know to follow a life that Jesus has called us to.

What exactly are we doing? We believe that our place is to reach people for Jesus in the USA through relationships, encouragement, and intentionally living a simple life. God has called our family of 7 to leave our home and comfortable lifestyle to get close to people to share the gospel. At this time, we are focused on tourist locations and vacation housing – Anywhere people are searching for peace. We strategically stay at locations with community pools, gyms, and age-appropriate activities for our children to connect with other kids their age. By building relationships, even for weeks at a time, we have had excellent success in reaching hardened hearts and encouraging broken ones. By homeschooling our children and working remotely, we are able to live this type of ‘un-traditional’ lifestyle while reaching people in new ways.

This blog is about our ministry, fun, trials, testimony, and what we learn during this adventure. It is for our family and friends to watch our progress and for our support system to continue to pray for us. It’s also to encourage others who might be called into a similar mission to know where to start. We want to share our traveling tips, big family recipes, spiritual adventures, ideas and resources.

We will write an article soon to describe our mission, and to share what is happening in our hearts.

“Our lives are not our own. ” (1 Cor. 6:19)
